This is perfect for making a reasonably pleasant tasting, but relatively cheap punch, for a hot summer's day. But pick your audience - more suited to a debauched house party than any other social occasion.
Take 3 litres of Vodka
Dissolve 1.5kg sugar into the vodka. Make sure that it completely dissolves.
Thinly slice 6 lemons, and add to the mix.
Add one medium size bag of ice.
Leave in the sun until ice is 3/4 melted, stirring from time to time.
Add 2 litres of Lemon-lime soda
Stir.
Serve.
Add more ice if it starts to warm up.
